When you need assistance, you open the app and submit a request for help. The app then alerts nearby boaties and volunteers who can respond and provide the help you need.

Rescue Zone can be used in a variety of emergency situations, including medical emergencies, natural disasters, personal safety concerns and more. The app is designed to connect users with nearby volunteers who can provide the appropriate assistance.

Life-threatening situations are raised as a Mayday, and urgent but non-life-threatening ones as a Pan-Pan.

Rescue Zone takes user privacy and data security very seriously. The app is compliant with all applicable data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). User location data and request information are only shared with emergency responders, and are not stored or used for any other purpose. Users have full control over their personal data and can request to have it deleted at any time.

To delete your Rescue Zone account, send us a message through the form on the demo page starting with "Account deletion request". Include your full name and the email address associated with your account. The Rescue Zone team will process your request and confirm when your account has been deleted.
